The Bartelso Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary is to benefit the department, firemen and women, and also the members of our community.  

Our Mission:  To support the Bartelso Volunteer Fire Department and their difficult and dangerous duties through activities supporting the fiscal, public service and response support needs. 

What We Do:…

• We assist in furnishing nourishment to the fire department personnel on scene during any fire and natural disaster. We will provide food, drinks, blankets, cooling towels, etc. to keep the firefighters strength and stamina during the call – night or day.

• To provide immediate assistance to residents of Bartelso and surrounding areas who suffer due to loss of fire, natural disaster, or any other tragedy. We help replace basic necessities to those who lost everything. We provide support to families by preparing meals, run errands, and offer assistance to help shed the burden and ease the way for anyone overcoming a tragedy.

• To assist our firefighters, the department and our great community in raising funds for equipment, help at community events, and assist other local fire departments, when needed.

The Bartelso Blaze feels strongly about their organization, its responsibility and the support it has to offer. It would be our greatest wish to never have to be called upon for a fire, natural disaster or tragedy. However, rest assured we will be ready and there backing up our firefighters and helping our neighbors when needed.

On June 3, 2014 the Auxiliary had their first meeting and walked away with its first members, bylaws, mission statement and elected officers.  The group continues to meet four times a year.

The Auxiliary Membership is free and is open to any Bartelso resident  (male or female), 18 years and older.  You do not need to have any relation to the fire department to be a member.  If you would like to become a member, please complete the membership form and below send it to:
